Default is Crutchfield the ONLY place that sells aftermarket stereo adapters?

I want to upgrade to an aftermarket stereo, but I cant see paying what crutchfield wants for the adapter to keep my DIC intact, does anyone else sell these? All I can seem to find when I google it is forums like this with people like me asking the same question only to be directed to crutchfield...
