1995 Chevy K1500
Ive ben told that my defrost don't work work because of the blend doors. I replaced the blend doors and still nothing. So the I was told that it is the control panel bought a new one and it still did not work. So then I was messing around with the ac compressor since I didn't have ac. I got that to work kinda and I realized that I had air blowing through the defrost like it should. So I asked a question if it would fix the problem and they said no. My question is why did it blow air through the defrost vents when the compressor was working and when it doesn't work it won't blow air? Should I replaced the compressor since it worked with it on. I do have a bad compressor anyways just want heat since it freezes hard where I live.
