Default Didn't winterize and Deployed

I took off to Afghanistan from Offutt AFB, NE a while back and didn't think to winterize my truck. It's supposed to be a super cold winter back there and when I get back I need to know the things I need to do to make sure I don't ruin my truck the first time I drive it. I don't know if it matters specifics so I posted in the general area, but it's an 05 2500HD gas 4x4.

I guess the most important thing is the anti-freeze. Do you know what the concentration is? As in -20 or whatever? What full level was the gas tank? You can expect water in the tank, so, when you get back (gone for a year?) I'd add gas drier to the fuel before starting it.

I'm not really sure what the concentration level was but I had half a tank when I left. And I should be gone until the end of Dec. It probably will have snowed by then and gotten pretty far below zero. So if I have my friend dump some anti-freeze in there it should be good?

No, if the concentration isn't enough to cover the Nebraska cold you are only protecting (partially) the radiator. Do you have a friend or someone that can check it? The water/antifreeze in the engine is the concern. You can email me direct kkoloff@aol.com thanks for serving. I have flown in/out Offet when I was in the service years ago. I also have a direct involvement with the power (electric) at Bagram.
