DTC Error 44 ODBI

I have a 1989 GMC Suburban R2500 7.4/454. I am getting a DTC error code 44 (lean exhaust).

Has anyone seen this issue before? Any suggestions?

That could be a few things. Check your EGR valve and the radiator temp sensor

I took my suburban into the dealership for servicing. After performing a variety of tests, the culprit was my fuel pump (which is in the gas tank). I put up a real quick blog post about this. You can read it here.

Bro,O got the same problem as you.. but what I did was I brought it to the dealer to have it checked. I suggest you do the same
