electrical?
truck will run for quite a few miles with no problems, then all of a sudden, it shuts down with no jerking, pulling or warnings lights. It just comes to a rolling stop. Then after about a half hour it will restart as if nothing happened and it will run again.

2007 chevy silverado ls ext cab 4.8 4wd has after market security system and radio installed? Bought truck used back in 2010 and no mechanical issues until recently, just a few months ago this started to happen. Truck was involved in an accident but that only involved munor front passenger wheel damage where tire hit a curb and tire popped to aviid hitting vehicle in front? No damage to steering linkage or parts. Truck runs perfectly fine for several miles but then all of a sudden it shuts down to a rolling stop, no warning lights come on and all gauges are fine. Have not taken to dealership yet as this is a secondary vehicle that I use, which is not often. Trying to get some troubleshooting here before I take to dealer$$
