Default Engine/Drivetrain warranty transfer

I recently purchased a used 2008 HHR from a private owner. The original
purchased date was 6/2008 and the HHR has 27,000 miles on the ODO. Does
5yr/100,000 mi warranty transfer automatically?

Thanks

JMichael

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll hear from member Chevrolet Customer Service but the answer is, in general, yes, from the original in-service date (not the "purchased date"), provided that it's not a salvage vehicle.

"EinST" is correct, the Powertrain Warranty should transfer with the vehicle. There may be exceptions based on the title condition. If you would like, PM me your VIN number, and I can look up the start and end dates of the warranty for you.
