Hi all, I have a Chevy 383 in a 81 Camaro that has a edelbrock 1406 carb on it with hooker headers, mech fuel pump, borg Warner t-10, that has a very peculiar problem. It idles fine, and revs in neutral fine, but as soon as I drive it down the block it refuses to idle and stalls out in between gear changes. I have checked the idle/mixture screws, they are not moving, I also checked the fuel pump and it seems to be in working order. I also sprayed around with carb cleaner for a vacuum leak and haven’t found anything. Also the vacuum gauge reads 15.5
, so a little low. Please help with any suggestions. Thanks, George
