I was oiling the cylinders in my chevy and I am afraid that I may have been a bit sloppy in replacing the spark plugs. If something got into the cylinders is the engine ruined or is there a way to fix it?

NO... JUST FIRE THE ENGINE UP AS LONG YOU DIDNT GET A BUNCH IN THERE AND IT DEPENDS ON THE ENGINE AS WELL ....

 

what "might" you have gotten into the cylinders?...oil? grease?...if so don't worry about it, it may smoke a little bit but it will just burn it up.

 

Unless you were unbelievably careless and dropped a few rocks in there you should be ok.
