Default Engine Swap; Changing ECM and Prom

This is my first post here (other than newcomer post) and I have a 1994 GMC Z71 with a 305 and am swapping the engine with a 350 from a 94 Chev. Z71 and want to know what is required regarding the ECM and prom.

My truck currently has the ECM numbered as: 16197427 BHMD and the donor has #16168625 BJLF. From what I have learned, the ECMs may be interchangeable and the 4 digit letters are for the proms which likely need to follow the engines.

I'd like to know if my current ECM will work with the 350 by changing the prom ...If not, I would have to purchase another ECM and would like to know which ones will work..

Thanks for any info in this regard!
