engine swap on a 1995 GMC

Question can you swap the Vorteck V6 with a Vorteck V8 in a 1995 GMC 1500 and have no computer isues with it. has anyone done this or knows some one who has. Donald

i'm pretty sure it's all the same. u have to change the radiator i think.

being the vortec is multiport youre going to have to swap computers with the engine- keep the v6 with the v6 and v8 with the v8, theyre programmed differently and wired a little differently. if it were the old tbi then you wouldnt have those issues.
