I have 1995 gas Hummer. I know it's technically an AM General but it's engine is 100% Chevy. I hope I can find help here. It has a 350 SBC 5.7, pcm 16197427. Here are the problems I'm having with it:
At startup it cranks for quite a while, needs accelerator pushed many times, then starts up. Some times it'll idle for a minute or so then need acceleration to keep it running. Other times it needs acceleration added right away to keep it running. It's parked now but the last time I took it out it would bog down when I accelerated at about 40 mph. Here's what I've done so far:
1.replaced fuel pump relay(I have turned key and can hear fuel pump run for about 15 seconds or so)
2.changed out plugs,wires,cap,rotor
3.changed fuel filter
Nothing has helped yet. What's the next step? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It gives error 54 and 73. I assume 73 doesn't affect the stalling as it's transmission related but want to give all the details I can.
