I'm trying to get some help. My airbag light came on and I was able to retrieve the following error codes: B0084-04 Right Impact Sensor and B0083-04 Left Impact Sensor. The vehicle (2015 Chevy Sonic LT - 4D Sedan) was involved in a fender bender but none of the airbags deployed. I am trying to find the location of the impact sensors. Do you think the issue is with the SDM module? I replaced what I believe are the impact sensors but the error codes cannot be cleared

when you have the 04 suffix after the b00xx code it indicates an open circuit so either the sensors are faulty or its somewhere else in the wiring... if this car was in an impact then all power to the sensors must be removed before service or you could deploy the airbag or airbags ... disconnect the battery and have the wiring tested via multimeter (by someone who knows what they are doing) most sensors reset after an impact but some wont or cant... so research how to test your particular sensor/sensors and if they fall within the test range of being good then ok but if on the other side of the test range then replace them both...

ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOIN SHOULD YOU TROUBLESHOOT THE SRS SYSTEM...i hope this at least pointed you in the right direction
