The EVAP is part of the A/C system, this is probably the wrong time of year to check but how is your Air Conditioning performing? That's one of those things where if you aren't an A/C specialist you shouldn't mess with it. Take it to the dealer and get them to fix it, it's going to cost you a shat load of money if you really want to have it done. You can do a leak test but when you take it to get it checked out they will do one anyway.

go to auto parts store and get a leak detector kit. Typically includes freon with dye in it, a special light to spot the dye, and a pair of glasses to use so you can see the leak. average cost is about 40 - 50 dollars. Most of the leaks are caused by refrigerant lines rubbing or the seals in the various fittings leaking. These can be fixed easily with tools that are very inexpensive. It's worth the time and expense to check it before you spend several hundred dollars to have the evap replaced.

If it is an EVAP system code it has nothing to do w/your A/C. Explained quickily, the purpose of the EVAP system is to store fuel fumes & introduce them to the engine at the correct time. The PCM will leak check the system every
now & then. When it fails a leak check it'll normally set a code (small, medium or largeleak)Sometimes you will
just get a plain old 'evap system failure'.Check your gas cap. If left loose it can cause a 'leak'. Being an 07 i cant
see it being anything other than a loose cap or an ECM programissue. You have a 8year / 80kemissions warranty. Take it in.

I worked in Comercial Refrigeration for a while and when I sawEVAP I thought A/C. If you know anyone who has an OBD2scan tool, see if they can come and clear the fault code in your compter.
