Default Express CD Troubleshooting

I have a 2001 Chevy Express Van that I really love. Lately I've encountered a problem with my CD player in that the player stopped working and displays "Check CD". It auto ejects any CD's I try to insert and continuiosly displays that same message. I tried checking the fuse, hoping that by pulling the fuse it would reset the CD player. Any thoughts?

Default RE: Express CD Troubleshooting

Depending on the make and model of CD player you have in the van. If you have the owners manual to the CD player it should give you a troubleshooting code guide. You normally excess the codes by pressing a series of buttons on the radio right when you turn it on. If you don't have the manual go to the website of the Mfg. of the radio. Hope this helps a little.
