Default Is this fan module test valid?

I have a 2011 Corvette GS with an electric cooling fan that is not functioning. There's more to this story, which we can get into if you want to, but my main question is: Is the test, represented in this video, of the fan module valid? The test comes at ~4:25 into the video.

Thanks for your responses,

Gary

seems valid. do you have the same model year?

i believe the ecm pulse width modulates the ground on the signal wire to turn it on. easy to test with a scan tool but this backyard test does the same thing but a little more work and knowledge of the circuit is required.

He doesn't say, in the video, what year it is. My information regarding this issue is that the year isn't relevant.

Thanks for your input.
