Got tired of my Ford breaking down all the time, Bought a Chevy. I have a 1980 Chevy 2wd short-wide truck. Has a 4 bolt main 350 thats blue but painted black. I was told that a blue block was manufactured before the 80's which had black blocks. Don't know if that makes any difference. The tranny is 12 bolt, again i don't know if that matters. But anyway, I have a new 262 cam, Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, Edelbrock 650 CFM carb, Double roller timing chain, headers, dual flowmasters, and electric fan. How much horse/torque is that good for? What would be my next upgrade? Would there be a big difference if i dropped my Edelbrock 750 CFM on it? Looking for more speed.
