Found 1979 350 motor from factory never used
Helo all,
I was just posting because im building an engine for my K5 Blazer, and i stumbled across a craigslist add for a 350 with rotating assembly , he said it was new and it had obviously looked like it was remanned so i bought it for $400. When i was talking to him he mentioned how he got the motor. He said back in 1979 he ordered it from GM. So it wasnt actually remanned, but new. I was pretty surprised, have any of you guys ran into such a thing? Any value in it besides it being neat/different? Anything i should worry about it being so old? Its just the block w/ the rotating assembly, also a 4 bolt main. Thanks guys!
