the check engine light came on and my fuel guage dropped to empty. Had it checked out. The fuel fill sensor was bad. I work at GM and build these trucks so I knew how to do this. I replaced the fuel fill sensor, the check engine light is still on and my fuel guage still reads empty. Is there something I need to do to reset the computer so everything is working again.

 

Might pop the battery cable off for a few minutes, try that.
