Exclamation Fuel pump problems.

So my truck died on me the other day. Check gauges light and service engine light come on. Turning it over and over and over. Couldn't here the fuel pump running. About an hour later I tried it again and it started. Went to get gas and put fuel injector cleaner down the tank. I thought maybe the pump just got a little bunged up. A couple days later I went to start it and it was dead. No fuel pump running. Check gauges light and service engine light come on again. Found the relays on the convenience panel and swapped them around. Nothing. All three of them can't be fried because my horn worked with one of them. checked the connection between the relay and pump. That was good. The fuse isn't blown. I have two problems i believe. First problem: When I turn the key on with a multimeter connected to the hot wire going to the pump (The gray wire) there is no voltage on it but the relay has power to it. It seems the relay isn't being switched on. Second problem: I tried connecting the pump to 12 V but it didn't spin. I tested the pumps resistance and it measured to be 778 ohms. This to me seems way to high because i tested another pump like it at about 30 ohms. I just replaced that pump last year and I'm wondering why it would crap out so fast. If anyone has any info. on this subject please reply quickly as it's my only vehicle.
