Default Fuel shooting up past injector in 1993 454 TBI when ignition initially turned on

I have a 1993 Winnebago - P30 chassis and 454 engine. Vehicle stopped while on highway, waited 5 minutes or so - started again. When I parked at my garage smelled fuel. Opened air cleaner. Turned on ignition and fuel was spurting up past both injectors. Mechanic rebuilt tbI including O-rings. Turned on ignition same thing. Mechanic said I needed new ECM - purchased rebuilt - took PROM out of old put in new. Turned on ignition - same thing. Mechanic recommended new PROM. Chevy dealer said no longer available. Tried E-Bay and salvage yards - no luck. # on PROM is DELCO BAMS 5225. Chevy dealer says # should be 16175224 but also unavailable. QUESTION: Does this sound like an ECM/PROM issue or something else? Thoughts please. Thanks

check the cam/crank/distributor timing. a jumped timing chain is one possibility.

Thanks Tech 2 for the response. However the fuel starts shooting up before engaging the starter. Fuel spurts immediately when we turn on the ignition which engages the fuel pump. I did put in a new fuel pump about 2 thousand miles ago. Any other thoughts are ideas? Thanks in advance

The fuel system is throttle body with two injectors. The fuel spurts up between the injector and the in injector holder (if that makes sense) Which means it has to be coming up past the o'rings. One other technician has pointed out that there were a few p30 chassis with 454 motor in the 1992/3 series that had a different throttle body than standard. He gave me the numbers of the non-standard TB and I will look for the number on my TB w hen I get to Missouri. If my TB is the nonstandard then the mechanic put the wrong rebuild kit in.i Thank you for your continuing interest - much appreciated.

Yea, I couldn't believe it is an electronic issue.
