Garage Door Opener Q
OK, this is not your typical how do I program my garage door opener question. I can read the manual. 
My issue is that the 3 button garage door opener on my 2009 Chevy Traverse (same one that came on my 2003 GMC Envoy) operates when the key is not in the ignition. To me, this is an unacceptable security risk since this car sits in my drive way. Too easy for a crook to gain access to my garage. I would like to have the garage door opener rewired to only operate when the key is on. Has anyone done this or had a mechanic do this?
