I have a 2007 Corvette with factory installed Nav System. I ordered the latest update Nav Disc, this is the first update I have done for the car, and I would like to know how I can tell if the system is using the disc.
1. When I inserted the disc in the DVD slot nothing happens. No menu or options.
2. The GM dealer said the system is working properly.
3. Does the disc contain new data and the Nav System will go out to the disc to pull the latest data "when needed" or should the system download the data into memory somewhere?

Any help will be greatly appreciate because if it is not working properly I would like to return the disc for a refund.
