hey guys.really disappointed with my 5.3 Silverado so i been trying to do some research on a engine up grade.im stuck with this p.o.s so I have to make it work for me. Anyway I noticed a 6.2 crate engine on the GM website. Does anyone know if I can drop this in my 2014 Silverado. will it fit my transmission. Or whats the max I can go... big block..lol...so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great..thanks

 

The new 5.3s are awesome. I'd check your gear ratio honestly. Yes you can drop a 6.2 in there and just get it tuned for the 6.2 and it work, but that's a lot of money to drop when you can do things to the 5.3 for a fraction of that cost. The new 5.3 with a tune will actually beat the 11-13 stock 6.2s in a race. Lots can be done, I have a new 6.2 and my buddy has a new 5.3, both surprised us
