Default HAZARD LIGHT CONTROL

anyone with a 1998 silverado having issues with the column mounted hazard light switch not working right? i have to bang on it a few times to keep them going. is this an easy fix if i need to replace?

Sounds like a grounding issue. If you get it off test the switch and the wires at the switch too. Hate to put a new switch on and have bad wires. Far as easy fix, shouldn't be too hard just take your time so you don't tear anything up. Another work around would be to get fixed whatever is causing you to use your flashers all the time.
