I have a 69 chevy pickup that had a newer motor put in before I got it. From what I can tell it is an 81 350. I have not begun taking this motor apart as yet, but was looking to get some basic info if possible before I start if I can so I can decide which direction I want to go. What I am looking for is basic specs on the engine. Stock piston size and compression, valve sizes on heads. Will decide on cam and crank after I get it apart. Other than that the questions I have concern the distributor. It has an electronic distributor, but was considering using original style points. Can I just swap this out or is there something more I have to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim
