Default HELP!!! with trans

I have a chevy 250 inline 6 that id like 2 bolt up to a chevy 350 trans but the flex plate is 2 big for the 250 starter how do I fix this??????

sounds like you have the bigger 168 tooth flex plate. you need the smaller 153 tooth flex plate.

take your starter to a parts store and tell them you want to see one for a 305 motor roughly same year. that should be smaller than yours and work just fine
