Default Horsepower Estimate??

How much hp do you think this motor would make? I recently inherited a 1984 vette and I have the specs on the engine. This car doesn’t mess around it’s blistering fast and fun with the 4 speed. My dad who built the motor thinks it is around 400 hp but I would guess more by the way the car runs.

You have to know length of stroke, cylinder diameter, and rpm, number of cylinders (that is a given) to calculate horsepower at a given rpm.
