Just recently purchased a 2015 Suburban and trying to figure out if it's a 1/2 or 3/4 ton. Its 4x4 with 5.3L V8 if that helps. Any help is appreciated.

 

-count the lug nuts on the wheels 6= 1500, 8 = 2500
-check the gvwr on the drivers door 7000 range is 1500, 2500 will be 9000ish
-if it has leaf springs...count the rear leaf springs 1500 maybe 3, 2500 more than maybe 5
-the 5th vin character... 1 is 1500, 2 is 2500 iirc
-put you vin into the vin decoder on this site...under tools
