I could use a bit of a hand/insight. So when I initially bought my 2018 chev Silverado I put LED tail lights in, I installed/soldered Load Resisters directly to the ground/signal wire to stop the hyper flashing on a turn signal. Well my right tail light started hyperflashing recently (resistor worked previously for 3 years). It slowly failed, would work sometimes and then sometimes it’d hyperflash, now it hyper flashes all the time. Figured maybe the resistor kicked the bucket so I purchased new resistors, installed them and no change. I’m at a bit of a loss… the trucks only 4 years old so I wouldn’t think it’d be the tail light (that’s a $300 fix if I replace it). Any suggestions?

 

nothing beats good old fashioned reliable bulbs
