For someone in your situation the onstar is worth it, but for most drivers it's just another expense that might never be needed.

Altho some may like you to think Onstar throws in the Hardware and software for free, I'll not bite on that one. Im sure they get there fair share for each unit on the street. One other thing Onstar owners should know is You Do Not own the software in your vehicle for the Onstar system They do. Now why is that ??
