Default Intake manifold vac advice?

Im starting to build an independent runner intake mani and need a bit of advice from the more experienced. Where is the best place to draw vacuum on an IR manifold? Will tapping one runner provide enough vac for things like the brakes and dizzy or will I need to draw from all equally to vac distribution block to have enough/stable vac? Also where is best to tap? closer to the head or closer to the carbs?

Runners come off head and 90 up to the 2 dbl barrel carbs.

Tap the plenum in the most convenient place unless you can tap the carb..
