I have a 96 s-10 2.2 4cylmanual transmission with 95k miles.
two weeks ago took a long drive about 500 miles..and right at the end noticed a big loss of power.
Was having lack of power and very slow acceleration.
I replaced the fuel filter, and noticed a pretty decent improvement, still sluggish and weak though.
Also my ABS light comes on intermittently now...brakes work fine. Yesterday had one instance while turning into a parking space and had to pump the brake about 3-4 times before they kicked in. Been working fine since. I have heard that the loss of power could be a govenor problem maybe? What do you guys think about that and the brake issue?
