I have a 1980 chevy pickup with the 350 5.7l v.8 in it. I was idle and it started to sputter so I gave it some gas and boom it started making a loud clanking noise. It has no power and cant idle it just dies. I had it towed so I hope damage is minimal. I dropped the oil pan and everything looked good down there. Do you think it could be the timing chain???
