Best place to tap into for mechanical oil pressure gauge sending connection in a 1974 small block 400

Same place the current oil pressure sensor is now, You just run a brass "T" fitting and hook them both up. Seen it done by lots of guys back in high school.

Also seen the oil line bust inside of one of my classmates car, making a real mess out of his Mor-parts Roadrunner, but the mechanical gauges are very accurate.

Still, better then having your gas-line or carburetor leaking fuel, causing an engine fire. Very commonplace back then. Glad carburetors have been replaced by F-I.

Yes, been looking at taking the leap with fuel injection with my 65 fury III but still much reading needs to be done on my end to see what works best on a dead stock vehicle. Thank you very much for the help
