Hi folks, Just call me junk. My daily driver is a 96 ext cab 2wd pu. 256k on it ,all original. I intermintintly drops #7 cyl. service engine soon lamp either blinks or comes on. all new tune up parts with less than 500 miles on them. Dist. shaft has no play. the only code it ever shows is a misfire on #7 cyl.
There are no vaccum leaks and compression is good. this will self fix and the ses lamp usually goes out by itself. This happens randomly and maynot happen for weeks and then it will reaccure for day at a time. I have very little hair to tear out at this point...Any and all suggestions are VERY welcome.
