Default MT Flywheel Dowel question

I'm putting a 5.7 vortec from a 99 Tahoe into my 1971 FJ40 Toyota. I'm switching the engine over to a manual trans flywheel. The question I have is this: the new flywheel didn't come with any dowels in the dowel pin holes to locate the pressure plate. I haven't read anywhere that it definitely should have dowel pins so I'm asking here. Should I install dowel pins to locate the pressure plate and if so, does anyone know the part numbers?
