Default the murphy's law ac problem

hi folks, i'm new to the cf and looking for some help with my ac in a 2003 impala.
it started out as warm temp coming out on left side of dual climate controls, i replaced the left actuator , made no difference, then i replaced all actuators.
still it blows cold on right but warm on left side, so i pulled complete dash out and down to ac case, check all doors for movement range and to see if there was trash or something in the way of doors, all is clear. then i removed upper door case so i could put my hand on the ac evaporator core. only the right side is getting cold and left side is almost room temp. can this happen? isn't it all one single tubing? can it be clog in half of it? ac lines from firewall are getting cold, input line is warmer then output. low freon? resticked core? devil now lives there?
any help would be great.
thank you
