Default My First Chevy, HELP!

I traded my cr500 today for a 87 chevy 1500. 350 v8. Just a couple things i had questions with..so there is dual gas tank but the left tank doesnt work. the switch seems fine, so is it something else? what is the largest tires i can put on it without lifting it? how much would a 6'' lift cost? And lastly where can i find a good place for parts if i ever need to replace something. Its MY first car and im 17 so all the help is nice. thanks everyone.

The only part of that I can answer is that for parts, the junk yards are full of small block Chevy's. Find your closest one and you'll be in paradise.

RockAuto Auto Parts.com

And for a link to junk yards:

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

But the thing is you'll find Rock Auto's customer service is very good and pricing isn't that much more over junk yard used parts.
