This line at the top of my engine is rusting out, and I don't know what exactly it is, can anyone help me identify it? It is the 4.3l v6 from a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Thank-you!

That is the heater core return line, goes from the firewall to the water pump.

That's your brake booster vacuum line. It provides vacuum to the power brake booster from the engine. Don't let it rust through or you'll lose power brakes. It's a good idea to replace it.
