I have tried to get 4 shops to fix my truck so I am going to look for a used tech 1 scan tool for my 91 Silverado and find out what parameters everything is running at to try to figure out what is going on. Can anyone tell me what cartridges I will have to buy to be able to scan through test modes to see block learn, iac counts, ecm info received etc.. I know there is some mechanics out there that can help with a little info. I can get a tech 1 for 100.00 but I don't know what I need to buy to go with it. I have seen mass storage cartridges for sale and powertrain cartridges etc. Thanks for any help you guys can give.
