New stereo installation
Hey guys got a few quick questions for you to possibly answer!!
I have a 2005 Equinox LS edition, these are my questions!
I have installed a new Pioneer deck to the vehicle, problem is, there was no ignition switch wire. I have heard of them being under the steering wheel or in that are. I assume the wire is red? but can not find it. i attached the ignition, battery, memory and current wires all in one, ponying them together? bad idea? did in my first car, 1992 nissan, and worked great! worried about a possible dead battery though.
Second, looking for a set of rims to through on them, possible black, or something snazzy!! Re-painted the car black,, looking for some running boards, or new front bumper of some sort, avoid the plastic possibly, or a sporty looking front end?
Last but not least, any one know where to get those bright Blueish looking lights, bought some that "claimed" to look blue but never turned out good. Looking for the Cadillac Escalade type, or the newer BMW type of color to the lights!!!
Any info is appreciated!!
Bryce!

You should be using an integration module for the radio. It will provide you with your power, ground and accessory, as well as keep your chimes, signal "clicking", and your onstar if you have it.
If you don't care about that stuff, then connect the yellow wire form the radio, to the red\white wire in the radio conector. Connect your black wire, to the black\white wire in the radio connector. Connect the red wire from the radio, tothe yellow wire at the power window switch. This will allow you to keep the R.A.P. system.
