No rest areas on NAV system?

No rest areas on NAV system?
On My new Tahoe, I am unable to find a way to identify rest areas along the interstate on my navigation/GPS system. I can find all sorts of POIs, from restaurants and gas stations, to ATMs and banks. But I must confess: I am more often in need of a rest area while driving, than I am a bank!
Is there a way to locate the nearest rest area using the my GM nav system? I am easily able to do it on my Smartphone using Google Maps. Does GM not have the same capability? (My old Rand McNally paper atlas crom 1995 shows rest areas. Looks like today's state of the art nav systems ought to be able to as well!!)
