I have a 97 vortec casting number 10243880 two bolt main and roller cam (verified)
I was also given two newly rebuilt heads one of each
Casting numbers are 14102193 and 14096217
Now I've researched a little and surmised the 193 head is garbage and the 217 head is fair at best

Here's the question: what non vortec heads would be recommended? Not planning on racing or performance just a driver
