Default Occasionally power loss in truck.

Hello everyone I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500hd 4×4 extend cab,
If any one could give some sort of pointer if this has happened to them and what was done to fix it would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance

here is what she is doing, Tuesday after noon I get in and won't start onno electrical power what so ever. OnNo dondome no head lights nothing. Disconnect battery reconnect starts everything is fine now, Wednesday night leaving work every stop sign stalls get home running fine no problems no stall just purring in the drive way. Go inside talk to wife she sends me to get pizza get in truck nothing. Now I'm getting annoyed at this point. Chase battery cables everything looks good give them and the fuse box and giggle and truck starts ding for door being open fires up it is now Tuesday of the next week and have not had a problem at all with the beast she fires up first try every time I get in it she purrs at stop signs red lights while driving city and highway no problems. I don't know where to start cables or fuse box any suggestions? Would a fuse box from junk yard be okay? And has anyone made cables for this application because both cables are pricey negative runs around $65 positive runs around $120 it's not like I can get the meter out and test stuff because it's not doing it currently. I can get cables and fuse box from junk yard but that's a crab shoot. Fuse box is $10 from a local yard and the cables are $6 from the same yard just gotta pull them out your self which is no big deal to me for the price of them.
