Default Oil In Coolant, But No Coolant In Oil

I have a 1990 K1500 4.3L, and I noticed that there is oil in my coolant and reservoir tank. I do not have any coolant mixed in with the oil though. In fact, the truck is losing oil as it is being mixed in with the coolant.

The truck has white smoke out of the tailpipe and throttle body with the slightest increase in RPM's.

What could be causing this?

Blown head gasket. Just went through it as well on my 90 5.7. Does the exhaust smell sweet also? Get yourself a block test kit. Relatively cheap at the auto parts store, and it will tell you for sure. White smoke is coolant.
