Thumbs down Oil and gas spraying out around fuel pump

I just replaced the fuel pump on my 78' z28. I take it for a test drive, get on it a little bit and come back home. once I get out I could smell oil and gasoline. I pop the hood and there's oil and gas sprayed all over the pump and radiator hose. I can't determine where it is coming from. The hoses are dry where they are clamped to the pump, it doesn't appear to get seeping from the gaskets either. Anyone might have a clue as to what could be causing this?

Welcome to the Forum.

Hard to say just where it's coming from !
Got to open the hood and rev it up and watch.
You may have to do a little engine compartment cleaning/washing to get things where a smaller leak can be detected.

Did you scrape off the old pump to block gasket well, and install a new one?
As far as the gas leak, can't say exactly where it's coming from without seeing it.
You do want to run a steel line from the pump to the carb, with flare fittings like how it was done from the factory.
Half arsing the job using rubber hose is looking for possible chafing/leaks/kaboom somewhere down the line.
