Default oil level transmissio

Hi,
I have a 59 chevy pick up with an automatic transmission, from 1985 a 400th. Can someone tell me how to check the oil level?
I lif in the Netherlands in Europe, so excuses for my poor writing

hopefully the dipstick tube is there and stock ,pull it out ,there should be at least two mark's on the stick when warm it should be at the top line ,if it's at the bottom line it's 1 pint low . good luck !

make sure the truck is running, on a level surface, and in park. Pull the dip stick, wipe it off, put it back in all the way, pull out and read
