Default oil pressure gauge mystery

My oil pressure gauge would shoot up to 80psi when I stepped on the gas, then drop back down to normal (around 30psi) when at idle. I then replaced the oil pressure sending unit. Now when I start the van, the gauge goes to about 10psi and stays there, even when I accelerate. It does not move at all. I have changed the oil and filter. Not sure how to check the gauge itself, but it does move from 0 to 80 psi. Thanks for any ideas.

Default oil pressure gauge mystery

I tried a sender from Advance Auto, and it did the same thing. I returned it and tried one from NAPA and it does the same thing. Thanks!
