Overheating issues!
Hi all, so I have a 99 chevy silverado 1500 z71. it is a 5.3 l and I just recently acquired it. it has just over 174000 miles on it and a new transmission about 5000 ago. Anyways when i got it, it was overheating so I took it to my local chevy dealer and they said my water pump and thermostat were bad. They replaced both with new oem parts and did a full flush of my system. I was told my over heating issue was fixed but 50 miles later after leaving service the issue continues. Upon returning and telling them it still over heated they were stumped. my radiator is clear of debris, my hoses are good and not leak clogged or forced shut and my fan works properly. Any ideas? They at chevy had none!
Ok, this is a list of overheat reasons that I made in a different thread. You apparently have done some, but check the list and see if there's anything you've missed.
Thermostat not opening fully,
Dirty Cooling System heavy dirt deposits in engine,
Radiator clogged (internal/external), excessive Tube repair/closure,
Hoses deteriorating inside/collapsing, blocking flow,
Improper Coolant Mix,
Captured Air in Engine,
Combustion Gas Leak into Cooling System,
Engine Timing set excessively in advance,
Fuel Mixture too lean,
Bad Water Pump,
Belt slipping,
Air Flow blocked in frontal Air Ram, (forward of Radiator)
Incorrect information from temperature sensor/gauge,
Shroud missing/improperly set to fan position,
Bad Thematic Clutch on Fan,
Heater bypassed with hose loop,
Excessive temperature contribution from Automatic Transmission, via Radiator Capsule,
Bad Radiator Cap, if there isany loss of Coolant.

Cause of overheating:
The coolant level is low
You have a leak in the engine cooling system
The thermostat is bad
The water pump is failing
Your cooling system has trapped air
The radiator cooling fan is not working
The radiator core has become clogged
Your radiator cap needs to be replaced
You have a blown head gasket
Check all these are proper or not. Sometime time new installed parts can cause such issue. I recommend to go through this company for better parts.

How many times are you going to re-register with different names on this Forum to spam your website !?
You can't even come up with something helpful which hasn't been mentioned before...pathetic.
I am not flattered by your plagiarism.
