Oxygen Sensor/O2 system stays in closed loop??
I'd like to have my own. I just can't invest the money in something I don't need. I work for a dealership so anytime I need a code I just hook it up. However my work is 24 miles away and closed on weekends. So, sometimes it can become an inconvenience. Luckily the Malibu has yet to throw a code at me that wasn't the gas cap not tightened down all the way. (got my fingers crossed... trust me)

I am not looking for codes, just want to see live data, I have a good code scanner, it just does not give live data. I am out for my own knowledge.

It normally sells for $229, I had a 10% off coupon and got it for like $205 with tax. Some may not agree, but I think its worth every penny. I am looking at some software for viewing live data, even has a dyno & much more for about the same price. I dont want to name it right now to prevent a whos got the best software dispute
. Programmers/chips/etc are cool but I am just wanting to learn about automotive computers and how they communicate with everything. She( my truck) comes stock with all the power I need.

Those built in dynos are never accurate. Some are really close though. I know the I phone has a built in dyno. lol From what I have heard from people who have used it, it's supposedly rather accurate. Only off by a couple HP.
